Job Title:  European Purchasing Manager

Job Purpose: To manage the European direct and indirect spend of ca 110M euros to support manufacturing: ensure continuity of supply and deliver savings per annum. Manage the procurement and material scheduling teams at manufacturing plants and sales entities to deliver company requirements on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Raw Materials (RM) and 3rd party product availability, cost reduction targets, financial measures such as inventory and DPO and other project work as it arises.  Deliver RM forecasts to the business to determine FG pricing strategy.

Job Title:   European Engineering Manager

Client:  A leading scientific instruments business

Salary:  £to £65,000 plus pension & phi (relocation assistance available)

Location: M8 corridor, Scotland

Job Purpose: Have overall responsibility for New Product Development for the European Group. To provide management and leadership for the delivery of a comprehensive, innovative and technology led NPD and R&D function.

Have primary responsibility for all aspects of NPD, initally for two of the Group's brands.  Ensuring that design and support efforts result in products that are cost effective, manufacturable and conform to relevant global standards.

Stimulate and develop creative thought and action to ensure our client continues to push back the barriers in creative excellence.

Work closely with the 'technical experts' within the brands to support Group engineering function in terms of market and product knowledge.
