Overall Job Purpose:
- Plan and manage inventory levels and maintain excellent service levels whilst keeping wastage to a minimum
- Contribute to our growth by delivering great service to customers, suppliers and colleagues. This is a hands on role with opportunities to get involved in a wide variety of activities.
- Take ownership of and manage the monthly stock reconciliation process between our system and the records of our 3PL warehouses

Job Content - Cross-Functional Support
Supplier facing:
- Managing a portfolio of products and suppliers
- Liaising with 3PL warehouses, customers and suppliers
- Ownership of the stock reconciliation process
- Capacity to understand the constraints of suppliers and the ability to manage demand effectively
Customer facing:
- Working with the Sales, NPD and Technical teams to plan supply whilst ensuring full traceability and food safety
- Working with Finance to ensure invoice accuracy
- Various projects and tasks to support the Supply Chain Manager and other team members
Person Specification
Education, Training and Qualifications:
GCSE Math's and English (as a minimum)
Additional Further Education is desirable e.g. a degree in a relevant field
Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Previous experience working in supply chain planning
- IT literacy, including Intermediate level Excel
- Ability to understand supply chain concepts of ROP, 3PL, EOQ, JIT, FIFO, Lean
- Excellent analytical ability
Desirable
- Experience working in FMCG supply chain/logistics environment highly desirable
- Any experience working in an international organisation with customers or suppliers based overseas would be an advantage
- Pegasus Opera and Microsoft Access skills are desirable, but not essential
