Job Title: Commercial Accountant
Client: St Pierre Groupe Ltd
Location: Towers Business Park, Wilmslow Rd, Manchester M20 2RY
Remuneration: Circa £50k salary plus excellent benefits package (including flexible working)
Job Purpose:
- To prepare, develop and analyse financial information to help the business to make well-informed decisions.
- To turn data into insights and to bring the numbers to life.
Key Responsibilities:

- Monitoring of profitability across the UK and European business across customer sectors, product groups and brands.
- Preparation and development of an evolving monthly management accounts pack, which adapts to the requirements of the business.
- Analysis of trends and variances.
- Effective communication of insights to all levels of the business, from members of the commercial team to the Board of Directors.
- Management of the budgeting and forecasting process for the UK and European business.
- Support with the development of our Business Intelligence systems.
- Work with colleagues on process improvements and business initiatives.
- Analysis and reporting of competitor activity.
Person Specification:
Preferred skills and experience:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Intellectually astute with strong commercial acumen
- Experience working in international multi-currency markets
- A good understanding of modern management information systems
- Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills
- Strategic thinking
- A good track record in financial forecasting
- An entrepreneurial outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
