The Career Opportunity - Business Analyst

Joining Co Company as a Business Analyst is the first step on our consulting career ladder and an opportunity to grow professionally with one of the UK's fastest growing consultancies specialising in aligning behaviour to strategy.  You will report directly to a Board Director and, as a Business Analyst, will have the opportunity to support our team of highly experienced consultants and coaches on an exciting range of projects including capability assessment, leadership development and team effectiveness.

The role is based in our Paddington Basin offices with some working from home by agreement.  Professionally you will have a deep interest in people and organisation behaviour, ideally with a first or Masters in Psychology (occupational or organisation).  With strong analytical skills you will be able to gather, interpret and present complex data in an impactful way.  Ideally you will have strong interpersonal skills and have worked in a consulting firm or be able to demonstrate the capability to effectively work with clients.

Our Business Analysts are key roles within our talent management pathway and are intended to develop into a client facing consultancy position for those with the ambition to deliver.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of cleint projects particularly large engagements involving co-ordination of coaches, diagnostic tools, debriefs, presentation material and/or data analytics
  • Research and write briefs on client organisations and competitors
  • Analyse client data and play it back through various means, presentations, article content, images etc
  • Carry out project research
  • Build reusable project collateral including tracking and presentation material
  • Support the development of methodologies for projects
  • Project planning and tracking
  • Set up and manage databases
  • Compile flipcharts and material for workshops
  • Track projects against budget and progress

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Ideally a first degree or Masters in Psychology (occupation or organisation)

  • Strongy analytical skills - enjoy working with data to understand the story it is telling
  • Must have a clear and structured thinking
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
